Forensic microscopy should introduce students to extremely large area of use of microscopy in forensic science. As the subject of the forensic investigation could be nearly anything, it is important first to show the basics of microscopic techniques used in biological as well as in material science to students. Students will learn the basics of light and electron microscopy first, then the most important areas of forensic investigation are discussed.
