The content of the course is to deepen the knowledge and practical laboratory habits acquired in the course Laboratory of Physical Chemistry I. The course focuses on the practical understanding of basic principles of physical chemistry (state behaviour of gases, thermodynamics of solutions, phase equilibria, chemical reaction kinetics, termochemistry - calorimetry and electrochemistry).

Students will be able to: transfer the theoretical knowledge acquired in lectures to the reality of modern laboratory practice. During the laboratory course students will learn modern devices for determination of thermodynamic quantities eg. several types of calorimeters, various electronic laboratory equipment (thermometers, thermostates, titrators, pipettes etc.) Last update: Vrbka Pavel (19.08.2013)
