The subject is dealing with traditional didactic technique and also with modern and electronic technique for education. The subject is focused on audio and video devices, especially interactive large-format equipment and the presentation technique. The application of computer for the preparation of lectures and the direct integration of PC into secondary school lessons are also discussed. The next part of the subject deals with using the Internet and services for European teachers. Following chapters are focused on the preparation of study materials. Students are introduced to the particular functions of available didactic devices and get familiar with their use and creation.

Students will be able to: 1. - have an overview of available didactic technique and educational SW, 2. - acquire the principles and attributes of modern digital and computer technology, 3. - work independently with modern didactic devices and take care of it responsibly, 4. - choose an appropriate didactic technique and use it effectively during chemistry lessons, 5. - be well informed about available educational SW and HW for chemistry and be able to use it, 6. - gain and process available information appropriate for education; use the DUM repository, 7. - follow recommended web-pages informing teacher about projects and events in education sector.
