Annotation -
The subject describes principles, mechanisms and limits of advanced analytical methods for the characterization of polymeric materials. It is focused both on methods for the characterization of microstructure of polymer chains as well as methods for the description of supermolecular structure of polymer materials.

2.Size exclusion chromatography with multiple detection, LS, viscometer

3.Practical aspects of SEC analysis, copolymers analysis

4.Interaction chromatography (chromatography under critical conditions, adsorption barriers, IC with thermal and solvent gradient)

5.Polymer fractionation (FFF, TREF, CRYSTAF)

6.Mass spectroscopy of polymers (ESI, MALDI-TOF)

7.Pyrolysis chromatography, SPE

8.NMR of polymers (liquid and solid phase)

9.Methods for the characterization of thermal methods of polymers (DSC, DMA, TGA+MS/IR)

10.Methods of study of polymer surfaces (EM, AFM)
