The course starts with general questions of team engineering design and project control methodology and after that covers basic areas of activities used for control system design during its life cycle. Throughout the course students obtain practical skills in individual and group projects.

Software development and coding – implementation of human-machine interface, control structures and data transfers, testing 10. Reliability and safety of control systems, alarm subsystem 11. Digital communications, industrial networks, network security 12. Deployment - field installation, checkout and startup of the system, tests of system functions 13.
