Annotation -
Students will learn to quantify the main components of drinking, surface and sewage. The acquired theoretical knowledge will be used in experimental activities and will acquire the necessary manual skills. Attention is focused not only on mastering the process but also on understanding the methodology, the proper processing of data and the interpretation of the results obtained. Methods of determination of individual analytes are applied to both model and real samples and during the semester, a basic analysis of drinking water is included in the program. The theoretical basics needed to master the Water Analysis Laboratory are lectured in the subject of Water Analysis.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to quantify basic components of drinking water, surface water and wastewater, and correctly interpret the results.

Course completion requirements -

The requirement for obtaining the credit is passing all the laboratory exercises; in an absent absence, a limited number of exercises can be completed in a alternative date. A mandatory output of each exercise is the processing of measured data in the form of a protocol. The resulting mark is based on the average mark for each laboratory exercise.
