The aim is to gain knowledge and practical skills required to provide first aid. Students are familiarized with acute conditions that arise from the accident and nontraumatic causes and with early identification of disorders of vital functions.

Student will be able to: Students will gain basic knowledge and practical skills to provide a non-expert first aid. Students will learn about unexpected acute traumatic and nontraumatic conditions. Students will be trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a model, including use of AED.

The course is composed of the theoretical and practical part.
The main topics are: 1.assessment of the conditions of the affected person, 2.first aid in traumas, 3.first aid of serious nontraumatic conditions, 4.support of vital functions of adults, 5.support of vital functions of children, 6.first aid in obstructive pulmonary conditions.
