Annotation -
Fundamentals of waste gases is focused on understanding the basic technological and chemical engineering tools applied in the treatment of waste gases. It is the understanding of technological schemes and their application on the chemico operations leading to the separation of pollutants. Various industrial technologies are discussed, especially in the field of chemical production. Attention is paid to the operational files, which are formed in the tail gas. For the cleaning of waste gases are applied to different procedures, the principle is in the subject explained in detail.

Aim of the course -

Student will be able to:

Work with specific technological scheme of waste gas cleaning technology.

Determine on the basis of mass balance process technological streams containing pollutants that reach, or could get into the air.

Specify technological conditions have a significant impact on the efficiency of the separation of pollutants.

For successful completion of the course, it is first necessary to achieve at least 50 points in the credit test and to pass the written part of the examination to more than 50 points. It is also necessary to pass the oral part successfully.
