Annotation -
Category of solid wastes and their characterisation, reliability of analysis, consequences of incorrect results, types of controls, sampling, analysis of municipal wastes, hazardous wastes, soil legislation, analysis in situ, analysis of soil at laboratopry, clasification of hazardous wastes, first of all wastes in the frame of petroleum, petrochemical and power production industries. The metods of sampling and the sample processing of hazardous wastes, estimate and basis methods of determination. The method of determination of polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), PCBs, PCDF, PCDD, pesticides and herbicides.

Aim of the course -

Students wil be able to know the following applications:

To work with the basis legislation of solid wastes analysis.

To make decisions regarding the methodic of necessary tests.

To analyse the regular solid wastes of industrial, municipal and polluted soils

Individually to test and elaborate the results.
