Annotation -
The content of the course is to deepen the knowledge and practical laboratory habits acquired in the course Laboratory of Physical Chemistry I. The course focuses on the practical understanding of basic principles of physical chemistry (state behaviour of gases, thermodynamics of solutions, phase equilibria, chemical reaction kinetics, termochemistry - calorimetry and electrochemistry).
Last update: Kubová Petra (06.05.2019)
Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

transfer the theoretical knowledge acquired in lectures to the reality of modern laboratory practice. During the laboratory course students will learn modern devices for determination of thermodynamic quantities eg. several types of calorimeters, various electronic laboratory equipment (thermometers, thermostates, titrators, pipettes etc.)

Course completion requirements -

To obtain the credit it is necessary to complete all prescribed laboratory work, to elaborate and defend the protocols to them. The final grade is calculated from the success of the control tests and the evaluation of laboratory work (protocols).
