Annotation -
The course deals with principles applied in the reduction of air emissions in selected technologies including production of electric energy and heat. The process of reducing emissions to air takes place at individual technological nodes where the possibilities of application of the respective chemical-technological operations leading to the separation of pollutants of the given technology are assessed. Environmental technologies are ultimately described in the balance sheets where the mass and heat flows of the whole technology are captured. Finally the various environmental technologies of air protection are compared both in terms of efficiency and economic criteria.
