Annotation -
Viruses are subcellular pathogens with long history of interaction with higher organisms as their hosts. The aim of the course is to give students the basic information in the field of virology. Every step of lifecycle of the viruses will be covered as well as transcription strategies and interaction with the cellular machinery. We will also discuss the important human viral pathogens.
