Annotation -
Description of basic principles and use applications of advanced technologies, including pharmaceutical applications. The subject is organized as a workshop - after the cycle of lectures the student's individual study on the given topic follows (usually derived from the dissertation topic), which ends with participation in the final seminar where the student presents the results.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to

  • to use basic concepts in the field of nanotechnologies (principles and methods of nanoobject creation, their physico-chemical properties)
  • to describe the basic properties of nanoobjects associated with the estimation of their toxicity and biocompatibility
  • provide examples of nanotechnology applications in analytical chemistry and pharmacy
