1. Molar mass averages, distribution of molar mass.

2. Molar mass distribution functions, the most probable and other types of function.

3. Polymer chain dimensions, end to end distance, radius of gyration.

4. Thermodynamic of polymer solutions, entropy, enthalpy and Gibbs energy of mixing.

5. Solubility parameters, phase diagram polymer-solvent and polymer-solvent-nonsolvent.

6. Light scattering from polymer solutions.

7. Small-angle X-ray scattering, small-angle neutron scattering, dynamic light scattering.

8. Viscosity of polymer solutions, determination of limiting viscosity number.

9. Mark-Houwink equation, viscometry methods.

10. Colligative properties in determination of molar mass.

11. Polymer fractionation, theory and experimental methods.

12. Size exclusion chromatography, calibration, concentration and molar mass detectors.
