Annotation -
The course is focused on developing the acquired knowledge necessary for basic communication in everyday life situations. The aim is to achieve A1/A2 level according to CERF (Common European Reference Framework).

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

  • understand job advertisements
  • order meals in restaurants, describe meals
  • plan a journey, book flights and hotels
  • ask for directions, find a certain place according to the directions given
  • arrange accommodation, rent a flat

1. Buying food. Ordering a meal in a restaurant. Cooking: ingredients, meals and recipes.

2. Weights and measures. Quantities.

3. Jobs and personal qualities. Job advertisements.

4. Requesting and providing information about job experience. Pretérito perfecto.

5. Time and date. Journeys, routes.

6. Means of transport. Types of accommodation.

7. City: public services, culture and leisure, climate and environment, commerce and industry.

Population, society and history.

8. Expressing wishes, preferences, opinions, agreement and disagreement. Comparison. Relative clauses.

9. Visit: phrases for greeting, introducing someone, saying goodbye. Housing: location, description of a flat.

10. Asking for and giving directions. Offering help. Requesting and granting permission. Imperative. Marcadores espaciales.

11. Important events in history. Daily routine.

12. Describing how life used to be. Moments and events in the past. Biography: age, studies, professional and private life.

13. Introduction to the use of narrative tenses: el pretérito perfecto, el pretérito indefinido y el pretérito imperfecto.
