Annotation
The course builds on the fundamental knowledge acquired in the Human Resource Management course and focuses on selected current topics and approaches to managing people in organizations. Particular attention is paid to strategic human resource management, HR business partnering, employee attraction and retention, talent management, compensation, collective employment relations, diversity, wellbeing, and quality of working life. The course also covers international human resource management, HR analytics, current approaches to occupational health and safety, and the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in human resource management.

Course completion requirements

Course credit: Preparation of a team seminar paper (teams of 2–3 students) and its presentation and defence, with all team members actively participating. If a team member is unable to participate in the defence, the completion of this part of the course requirements will be addressed individually.

Requirements for obtaining the course credit:

• preparation of a team seminar paper in a team of 2–3 students,

• presentation and defence of the seminar paper, with all team members actively participating.

If a team member is unable to participate in the defence, the completion of this part of the course requirements will be addressed individually.

Oral examination:

The oral examination assesses students' knowledge and understanding of the topics covered in the course and their ability to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. The examination is based on the content of lectures and seminars as well as the required literature specified for the course.
