Annotation -
The course provides an overview of legislation and regulatory mechanisms in the field of environmental protection, particularly at the national but also at the international level. Students are introduced to key concepts and laws, directives and regulations relating to the protection of nature, air, water and soil. The syllabus also introduces students to tools that translate current legislation into practical life and thus serve to protect the environment.

Requirements to the exam -

The examination is conducted in written or oral form. The written form of verification of study results takes place in the form of a test, where a maximum grade of 100% can be achieved. The individual questions have different weights derived from the time burden for its elaboration. If the test is completed above 80%, a grade of A for 100-90% or a grade of B for 90-80% may be recorded. In the case of completion of the test in the range of 50-80%, the grade is as follows: 80-70% grade C, 70-60% grade D, 60-50% grade E, 0-49% grade F. If the student wishes to obtain a better grade than the one resulting from the test, an oral examination may be conducted and the final grade may be re-evaluated/retained on the basis of this examination.
