The course consists of lectures that contain basic information about forensic and toxicological analysis. Students have the opportunity to obtain basic information about the selected study program and its content. The course will introduce individual fields of analysis at a basic level: forensic analysis, toxicological analysis and clinical analysis. A significant part of the course content is dedicated to invited experts from the field to deliver professional lectures from practice so that students have the opportunity to gain a more realistic idea of the field of study and their following specialization. The course is primarily intended for students in the 1st or 2nd semester and provides basic information with the assumption of following specialized courses that further deepen knowledge of the given field.

In order to successfully complete this course, the student is required to attend at least 80% of the lectures in person and submit a final written report. The report should summarize the knowledge acquired during the course, provide feedback, include an evaluation of the course, and contain a personal reflection on the student’s future academic and professional direction.
