The course is focused on skill practicing from the field of measurement and control in chemical, food and biotechnological processes. During the semester the students will be acquainted with the problems of measurement and control of process quantities such as temperature, pressure, level, flow and concentration; further with features and practical control by P, PI, PID controllers; basics of logic control and programming of simple programmable logic controller; application of thermography and non-contact temperature measurement as well as with methods of data acquisition and processing.
