Předmět podává detailní informace o elektronové mikroskopii se zaměřením na specifika vzorků pro restaurátory. Budou detailně probrány skenovací a transmisní elektronová mikroskopie a s nimi spojené spektroskopické metody. V praxi bude provedena instruktáž přípravy vzorků a měření pod vedením na obou typech mikroskopů. Důraz bude kladen též na zpracování dat a jejich interpretaci.
