Aim of the course -

The main goal of the course is to make students familiar with the basic principles of green chemistry, which are an integral part of modern chemistry. In the subject, students will gain an overview of various chemical and technological processes, principles of processing raw materials, analytical procedures from various areas of chemistry and will discuss them with an emphasis on the basic principles of green chemistry. Thanks to this, students will become familiar with tools for reducing waste production, increasing the energy intensity of processes, or how to design safer chemicals or how to process biomass for various purposes.
