Annotation -
The Excursions to Industry subject includes at least 9 excursions to industrial plants. Excursions will take place in plants involved in the production and processing of metals, polymers, glass, ceramics and building materials. The aim of the course is to introduce student industrial plants and to get acquainted with the basic methods of production and processing of materials. To show them previously acquired theoretical knowledge in the real environment of an industrial plant. The excursion will allow them to compare theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge.

Credit for the Excursion to Industry course is given to the student for at least 75% participation in the excursions.

Excursions within this course will cover the production and processing of a wide range of materials, while thematically focusing on:

• 3 excursions to plants producing and processing metals

• 3 excursions to plants producing and processing polymers

• 3 excursions to factories producing and processing glass, ceramics and construction materials
