The aim of the course is to acquaint students with specific problems that they may encounter as water managers. Students will be divided into groups and during the introductory class, they will receive a specific water management project, on which they will work. Within the course, they complete a series of seminars focused on working with literature, data processing, presentation skills, and a professional introduction to the assignment of a water management project.
Students solve assigned tasks in groups to also get acquainted with the principles of teamwork. The solution procedure is as follows: problem analysis, selection of the solution method, finding the necessary data, and custom solution of the problem. Students prepare a written report on the solution of the problem and defend the results of the work in the final (oral) defense with a presentation. During the defense, students critically evaluate the solution of other projects.
