Annotation -
The aim of this subject is to give students a general view of methods employed in hydrometallurgical treatment of raw materials and wastes. The methods of mechanical separation of heterogeneous mixtures, physical and chemical enrichment of raw materials and the most important unit separations used in hydrometallurgy are included. Emphasis is given to the physicochemical principles of these methods as well as to their practical applications.
