The focus of this course, both in the interpretation and discussions with doctoral students, will be devoted to the penetration of sustainable development into managerial activities at all levels of management, especially business entities. The EU's green policy creates and will continue to create pressure to apply sustainable development in corporate activities and will mean a significant competitive advantage, strengthening the social prestige of companies, etc.

Těžiště tohoto předmětu jak ve výkladu, tak diskusích s doktorandy bude věnováno pronikání udržitelného rozvoje do manažerských aktivit na všech úrovních řízení, zejména podnikatelských subjektů. Zelená politika EU vytváří a bude i nadále vytvářet tlak na uplatnění udržitelného rozvoje ve firemních aktivitách a bude znamenat nezanedbatelnou konkurenční výhodu, posílení společenské prestiže firem atd.

The condition for successful completion of the course is the elaboration of a seminar paper, which will take the form of an article in order to link the theoretical basis with current issues. The second part is the student's ability to moderate a professional discussion on a selected topic, always on a given theory, approach, concept or problem.

Podmínkou úspěšného ukončení předmětu je vypracování seminární práce, která bude mít podobu článku s cílem provázat teoretická východiska s aktuálními otázkami. Druhá část je schopnost studenta moderovat odbornou diskuzi k vybranému tématu vždy k dané teorii, přístupu, konceptu či problému.
