The course objective is production of drinking water from underground and surface raw water icluding their collection. Fundamental processes of water treatment plant including special technologies of underground water treatment (removal of nitrogenous compounds and radio nuclides) are discussed.

For the successful passing of the subject students are required to gain at least 51 point from overal number of 100 points in the written test.

Possibility of improving grades B - E:

  • by an exam in the remedial term
  • by prior agreement, because SIS allows registration for the next term only with an F result
  • with this procedure, there is no risk of deterioration of the grade
  • only the last grade (regardless of the number of attempts) is counted towards the academic average
