Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry II sessions are focused on advanced instrumental methods commonly used in process laboratories. The laboratories follows LACH I and extend the knowledge of analytical chemistry applicable in practice. Students will meet with advanced analytical methods, including the in situ analysis, which commonly includes more complicated data processing than in case of LACH I.
Aim of the course -

Students will learn:

The basic principles of spectroscopic, chromatographic and flow analysis.

The principles of in-situ analysis and fundamentals for creation of experimental outputs in the form of laboratory reports.

The every laboratory starts with 5-minute 5-question test, to prove that student read the manual and is able to work safely and purposely. The 3 questions need to be answered correctly to be allowed to work. If not the test is classified “F”. Every work is classified after delivering of report (before leaving the lab, exceptionally maximum 2 days after) or the not classified if report is not delivered or delivered late. If the report was delivered in time and was not classified, the protocol needs to be corrected, in such case contact your teaching assistant. The overall classification is the arithmetic average off all marks, including extra “F” for unsuccessful tests. To obtain final mark, all tasks need to be passed with maximum two “F”.
