The subject deals with the processes that take place during the melting of glass and ceramics firing, the basic idea of ​​their mechanism and the mathematical description of the kinetics of their partial actions.

Students will be able to:

Apply basic concepts of the mechanism and kinetics to describe specific processes in the studied systems

Specify sub-processes which control the kinetics of high-temperature process in question

Formulate a mathematical model describing the kinetics of high-temperature process in question
