The course is focused on electricity and heat production from sustainable and renewable energy sources by innovative technologies and seeks potential solutions through the knowledge of renewable energy systems, their underlying physical principles, their economics, impact on environment and their integration into world's energy systems.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

Analyze processes in the production of ecological green electricity

Balance and optimize basic technologies for solar and geothermal resource utilization

Design a simple photovoltaic system with battery storage for house application

Analyze the levellized cost of electricity from sustainable and renewable technologies
