The subject is concerned with mechanisms of degrading processes,induced in polymers by external surroundings action, defines causes of the degradation a principles of action and utilization of antidegradants.

Students will be able to:

understand the relationships between structure and resistivity of polymers against to light, temperature, oxygen, ozone and so on

understand degrading processes in polymers and applicate various types of stabilizers
