The module enables students to obtain the knowledge of currently used electrochemical techniques. Emphasis is given not only to the understanding of the principles of the electrochemical phenomena but also to the application of techniques namely in analytical chemistry and the field of environment. After passing the course student would obtain a compact overview of experimental techniques in electrochemistry and knowledge about their experimental demands as well as advantages and disadvantages.
Aim of the course -
Last update: ROZ105 (15.08.2013)

Students will be able to:

know experimental methods used in electrochemistry.

identify if studied electrochemical reaction runs irreversible.

choose suitable electrochemical method for given application in electrochemistry and electrochemical engineering.
