Continuous testing by means of 4 written tests is performed during the semester. The examination is completed when at least 3 of 4 tests are passed or a summary test is passed and sufficient knowledge of topics characterised by the curriculum is proved at oral exam. |

1.Basic terms, classification of raw materials, world consumption of polymers. 2.Polyolefins (homo- and copolymers of ethene, propene and butene). 3.Poly(halogenolefins) (polyvinylchloride, fluroplastics and fluoroelastomers). 4.Polydienes (homo- and copolymers of isoprene, butadiene and chloroprene). 5.Homo- and copolymers of styrene, acrylic and methacrylic acid. 6.Polyesters, polyamides and polyurethanes. 7.Polyethers, polyacetals, polyimides, polyimidazols, polysulphides, polysulphons. 8.Phenoplastics, aminoplastics, polyepoxides (epoxide resins). 9.Polysiloxanes (silicon oils, putties, rubbers and resins). 10.Plastication agents, processing aids and heat stabilizers. 11.Light stabilizers, antioxidants and antiozonants. 12.Crosslinking agents, activators and accelerators of crosslinking. 13.Fillers, reinforcing materials, plasticisers, blowing agents, optically lightening substances. 14.Antistatic agents, adhesives, flame retardants and abrasion agents. |
