Lab training introduces basic safety measures and practical habits for work in radiochemical laboratory. It practically demonstrates Geiger-Müller tube and within individual task students will familiarize with the determination of half-time decay of isotopes using the scintillation method, RIA or IRMA method, and applications in HPLC and TLC chromatography. It includes also an excursion to specialized workplaces for nuclear medicine.

Perform basic manipulations and determinations of radioactive isotopes

Apply radiochemical methods in other areas of analytical, organic and medicinal chemistry and biochemistry
