| One-year preparatory course to study in a Czech-taught bachelor’s and/or master’s degree programme is designed for students who, after the completion of a preparatory course, plan to study in an Czech-taught programme. The concept and content is designed with the entrance exam requirements in mind. The course is designed to help international students improve and accommodate their language, communication and sociocultural competencies to meet the requirements of the Czech study programmes with a primary focus on developing students’ language, communication and academic competence. The well-structured course includes in-class lessons, guided independent learning, regular revisions, assignments and feedback, a progress check and an exam. After the successful completion of the course, students will receive a Certificate with the course description and final assessment. | |
| A successful graduate should be able to communicate in Czech as an independent user, use the acquired knowledge and skills in everyday situations as well as in academic environment, comprehend complex texts and ideas. In addition, the course brings international experience, broadens horizons and networks, and opens new perspectives related to both academia and the global workplace. | |
