    The programme provides linguistic, professional and study skills that will enable graduates of this programme to apply for Bachelor's/Master's programmes in the Czech language, to communicate and understand independently, to orient themselves in the basic terminology related to the study of economic-managerial disciplines and to acquire the socio-cultural competences necessary for university studies. The programme consists of intensive teaching of general Czech, teaching of professional Czech with an economic-managerial focus and teaching of other subjects increasing the prerequisites for university studies.
    The programme is designed for Slavic students (students with knowledge of Slavic language) and includes the scope of language preparation necessary for
    1) for sufficient mastery of the Czech language so that the student is able to study independently in the language (discuss, argue, write, follow professional lectures, etc.);
    2) to meet the required language criteria for admission to higher education in Czech (B2 SERR) at most universities.
    In addition, it includes subjects that help to master the entrance exams in mathematics and English for the courses of the Institute of Economics and Management and that significantly increase the success rate in the study itself.
    In the summer semester, selected top students will be able to enrol in a standard Bachelor's degree course - subject to meeting entry requirements and availability.
    The main objective is to prepare students
    - for the Czech language exam at the B2 level (SERR), which is required by most Czech universities
    - and for university entrance exams.

    16 - 24 hours per week; 4 - 5 days per week
    the examinations can be taken until 31 August 2026 at the latest
    English language level of at least A2 SERR;
    completion of a motivation questionnaire;
    knowledge of the Latin alphabet in words and writing;
    applying through the course sponsor
    Valid travel insurance of the course participant; valid liability insurance of the course participant;
    Signing of compliance with work safety and PC network usage rules;
    Signing and adhering to the Student Rules and Rules of Social Conduct;
    Active Attendance of 75% in each month of study;
    Fulfillment of study obligations - continuous tests, homework, independent/group project work.
