    Language training is intended for those interested in studying at university in Czech. It is a course with intensive Czech language instruction during the fall semester. Classes begin at the beginning of summer on July 1 and the time commitment is 320 hours. During the summer months and also during the autumn, a rich cultural and sightseeing programme is included as a supplement to the classical lessons. The course has two main objectives. The first one is to introduce the Czech Republic to foreign students and to adapt them to student life thanks to the summer start of the course. The second goal is to give students the opportunity to understand whether they really have the ambition to study at a university in the Czech Republic in the future. These students then extend their language learning in semester courses (Winter-Spring). The programme consists of a total of 320 lessons of general language training. In the context of the target group, this amount is sufficient to reach the A2 level for beginners and the B1 level if the students start the course with a basic knowledge of the Czech language.
    The main objective is to prepare students
    - for the Czech language exam at the B2 level (SERR), which is required by most Czech universities, and for selected fields of study for the exam at the C1 level;
    - and for university entrance exams.

    Courses run from 1. July to 31 December
    Applicant's registration with DOCEO
    Completion of secondary education or final year of secondary education
    Knowledge of the Latin alphabet
    Valid travel insurance of the course participant; valid liability insurance of the course participant;
    Signing of compliance with work safety and PC network usage rules;
    Signing and adhering to the Student Rules and Rules of Social Conduct;
    Attendance of 80% in each month of study;
    Fulfillment of study obligations - continuous tests, homework, independent/group project work.
