The course develops speaking and presenting skills and professional lexis for students on the B1-B2
CEFR level. Attention will be paid to the structure and organization of ideas, a wide range of strategies and
techniques and their effective implementation, the language of presentations, and its functions in various
contexts. Students will minimize their weak points and develop strengths. The course focuses on
practical training and individual performance development. A rich database of resources is given to
learn from. Covered topics include Structure and Organization, Balancing verbal and non-verbal, Voice
and Intonation, Props, Slide design, Notes and Handouts.
