The course Czech language 1 is intended for foreigners and is the first in a two part series. The aim of the course is to help students acquire basic communicative competences for functioning in everyday life in the Czech Republic. Related language skills, such as speaking, reading, listening, writing, basic grammar and phonics, are subordinate to this intention.
