"The course provides an overview of approaches currently used to build startups as well as those used for the
development of new products and services within companies. It focuses on generally useful practices (e.g., Lean
Startup approaches, Human Centered Design) applicable to multiple industries and types of ventures.
Entrepreneurship is very much a hands-on activity, so participants will work in teams during the course. They will
progressively identify potential opportunities, identify user needs and problems to solve, develop possible
solutions and identify a business model.
As these activities are time-consuming, the course requires teamwork
outside of class time. At the same time, this will be adapted to the real-time constraints at the end of the semester.
