Annotation -
The course is focused on the interpretation of the theory of measurement and control, with emphasis on obtaining process information, information transfer and processing and process control. The topics of the lectures deal with the design of technological schemes, theory and instruments for measurement of technological quantities (e.g. temperature, pressure, flow, level, concentration quantities etc.), mathematical modeling and simulation of processes, theoretical aspects of regulation, control loops, and systems for data acquisition and processing. The exercises of the course are focused on the design of technological diagrams and modeling and simulation of processes.
