Annotation -
Providing skills in the field of waste collection, transport, processing, recycling or disposal, with special amphasis on to solid waste - both municipal and industrial. The main aim of the course is to enlighten the state of the art in waste management and treatment technology, organizational and legislative developments and practices of handling solid wastes within the Czech Republic and Europe.

Students will be able to apply technical knowledge learned within the course to numerous professional activities, including mainly construction and operation of waste treatment facilities.

The course is completed by a Written exam and presentation of Team assignment. The Written exam consists of open-ended questions that cover all topics presented during the semester.
