Students will be familiar with the structures and functions of cell compartments and sub-cellular units both in eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. They will be aware of mechanisms of cell differentiation, programmed cell death, and cell-cell interactions. They will know the particular tools for the analysis of cells and will understand their principles. Students will have a robust knowledge base for the follow-up subjects and will be able to work independently with a specialized literature of relevant orientation and discuss related topics. |
