The aim of the course is to acquire technological knowledge of production and artisan skills. Conservation-restoration artcraft of textile objects The aim of the course is to acquire technological knowledge of production and artisan skills in hand techniques of textile production - needle lace, bobbin lace, embroidery and weaving. Professional-practical character of the course is focused on development of artisan skills needed for the conservation-restauration of textile objects. Part of the course is devoted to the analysis of textile weaves, making of the technical documentation, working with scientific text.

  • the necessary craft skills according to their specialization
  • Use your craft skills for restoration

Conservation-restoration of handicraft works of textile materials
The student will be able to create a graphic record and reconstruction of the design and techniques, master the craft in all its basic theses and is ready to master

as well as its historical or regional peculiarities, to apply traditional craft techniques to textile restoration.

Forming and processing of hot metals (production of stones for stones).

Connection of metallic materials (basic hard soldering).

Surface treatment of metals and their fixation (tanning, phosphating, brying).

Handicraft techniques of metal processing (engraving, tauching, unwinding).

Conservation-restoration of glass and ceramics:
