This course deepens the student`s knowledge of the physico-chemical methods used in the wastewater treatment. Principles, design and operational parameters of every technique are thoroughly explained. Particular technologies are compared from the point of view of applicability for removal of various pollutants; their technical and economical requirements are discussed. The wastewater treatment techniques are illustrated with concrete examples. The scope of this course can be adjusted to the research orientation of concrete PhD thesis.
Aim of the course -
