The aim is to provide students with basic, comprehensive, overview and information about all aspects of risk assessment, accident prevention a safety measures which are essential for safe and reliable operation of technical and industrial processes.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

General knowledge in the field of risk assessment and accident prevention, including the legal framework

Knowledge on industrial accident models and its prevention (fire, explosion, dispersion of toxic substances)

Knowledge of maintenance methods of technical equipment

Implement quantitative approaches of reliability and risk assessment

Implement qualitative approaches of reliability and risk assessment
