Annotation -

It is a supporting subject of the branch. The aim is to prepare the conditions for the application of analytical methods in production management, operations research, marketing, business management, logistics and quality control. There will be thoroughly discussed selected statistical measures, regression and correlation analysis, time series and index method. The next section deals with the basic probability distributions, statistical estimation , hypothesis testing, statistical process control, inspection and statistical analysis of variance.

Students will be able to:

Properly evaluate the results of observations

Perform analysis of observed results using statistical methods

Prepare the ground for analysis in quality control, scientific management, marketing and logistics
