Annotation -
The course focuses on the systems approach to management issues of large-scale supply systems with a focus on chemical and food industry. It stresses the need for the partners in the supply system to be end-client oriented to apply the principles of cooperation and to take the approach of openness between partners. Attention is paid to the implementation of push and pull or combined systems, usage of modeling techniques including simulation to increase the efficiency of existing and design of new supply systems.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

design new and improve the efficiency of existing supply systems

manage cooperation between partners in the system

evaluate the economic efficiency of functions and coordinate parts of corporate management in the planning and management of supply systems

implement the developed managerial methods and design a new system based on implementation of system theory

8. Combined systems and their implementation in supply systems, application of the principles of the bottleneck, decoupling point theory
