Annotation -
The subject is devoted to basic principles of multimedia data processing in the MATLAB computation environment and using SIMULINK block oriented structures. Subject includes real data acquisition using standard abilities of personal computers, A/D convertors and MATLAB toolboxes. A special attention is paid to real data processing and their vizualization in the virtual reality.

Aim of the course -

Students will know

(i) how to acquire real multimedia data (sound, images) and how to save them in the MATLAB environment,

(ii) how to analyze and process these data using digital filtration,

(iii) how to visualize results including 3D models in the virtual reality
