Annotation -
Students will obtain theoretical and practical knowledge of biochemical laboratory techniques, which are commonly used in research work. They will manage basic operations necessary for further routine work in biochemical laboratory. They will try wide spectrum of biochemical techniques, particularly in the area of biomolecules isolation and analysis of biological samples.

Learning outcomes -

Students will be able to:

use various modern biochemical techniques, which are used in current research. They will learn to use basic biochemical operations such as isolation of selected biomolecules, their quantitation, chromatographical and electrophoretical characterization,kinetic enzyme studies etc.

The acquired knowledge will be used by students during their work on bachelor and diploma thesis.
