Molecular engineering is an area of contemporary interdisciplinary research that is developing rapidly. Available instruments and methods of measurement allow the analysis of materials with atomic resolution. There are also procedures for building complex two- and three-dimensional objects with precisely arranged atoms and molecules. Many individual topics are lectured in details in other subjects, so in this course, the interconnection of these sub-areas is emphesized.
